Coca-Cola has announced the latest on-pack promotion as a part of its latest 2014 FIFA World Cup campaign, which provides consumers the opportunity to win a minimum edition football. As an authorized partner for the sporting occasion, the drinks giant is offering around 1 million of the Coca-Cola labelled footballs, since it aims to “inspire” individuals to get energetic this summer. The Win a Ball promotion will certainly run from 29 April to 13 July 2014, with people asked to enter a unique code available on selected promotional packs of Coca-Cola and Coke Zero on the Gain a Ball website to see whether they are a winner.

The campaign, which targets on the “power of football” motivating people to be energetic, is going to be reinforced by a campaign to come upon TV, digital, outdoor and print. Bríd Drohan-Stewart, advertising activation director, Coca-Cola Great Britain said : “Coca-Cola is utilizing its assistance of the 2014 FIFA World Cup like never before ; not only celebrating football in Brazil, however using people’s enthusiasm for football to inspire them to shift, more frequently, for years to come. Hopefully that the footballs will certainly inspire people to enjoy becoming active with family and friends and carry the spirit of the 2014 Brazil FIFA World Cup to their neighbourhood.”

Additionally Coca-Cola has pledged to donate 10p for every valid entry built to United Kingdom charity Street Games which becomes disadvantaged teenagers into sport. The promotion will come after Coca-Cola last month exposed it will be set to invest £20m in lifestyle sessions to motivate consumers to guide healthy life. In February the drinks company released the ‘Moments of Happiness’ campaign which an invitation consumers all over the world to publish video clips capturing happy moments for ‘The World is Ours’, Coca-Cola’s 2014 World Cup campaign anthem.
